So it happened...despite my pleas to stop growing up, Braden, my oldest baby turned 6. I still cannot believe I have a 6 year old because with that comes Kindergarten and loose teeth and way too many things that make me realize my little guy is growing up faster then I want him to. And as he has always been since birth, he is still such a delight! With a huge, compassionate heart, a playful, imaginative personality and a sweet, encouraging spirit, he truly is a gift from God to us. He is still my responsible child, obedient and concerned about doing what is right and is very genuinely concerned about others, sensitive to their feelings and loves to speak words of encouragement over you. He is my lego building, costume wearing, Air Force obsessed, Star Wars watching, baseball loving, protective 6 year old and it has been a true joy to watch God working in his heart and see his faith grow over these past 6 years. It is a beautiful thing to see true outward evidence of Christ living in him and I am blessed to be called his momma.
He is really into Star Wars these day, so a Star Wars party we had...
So excited that he won a battle against Darth Vader -
Asher spent quite a bit of his time at the party riding on the tractor -
And Baby Amelia spent quite a bit of her time on my mom's hip -
